Orang National Park



Orang National Park is located on the north bank of the Brahmaputra River in Assam. It is also called as Mini Kaziranga National Park as they both have similar landscapes, streams and grasslands and are inhibited to One horned Rhinoceros.

Orang National parks major attraction is their wildlife and the fauna, includes a variety of all in one place. Kaziranga National Park



Located on the banks of Brahmaputra River is one of the best tiger reserve called as Kaziranga National Park. It’s in the north eastern part of India in Assam and covers an area of about 430 sq kms. Due to extreme geographical location, the park offers a gigantic range of flora and fauna.

Kaziranga is popularly known for the significant achievement story of preservation of the one Horned India Rhinoceros and other wild lives. Manas National Park



Placed in the North East India is the Manas National Park is rich with its diversity in flora and fauna. It is one of the natural world heritage site, a project tiger reserve, elephant reserve and a biosphere reserve in Assam. Manas name is originates from Manas river which is in turn originated from the serpent goddess Manasa.

The sanctuary as i said is blessed with very rich flora and fauna, the park includes lot of common trees. The National Park is famous for its exceptional and scarce endemic wildlife such as the Assam Roofed Turtle, Hispid Hare, Golden Rule and Pygmy Hog. In total it’s considered to have 55 species mammals, 380 species of birds which includes Asian Elephants, Rhinoceros, Gaurs, Barasingha, Tigers, Leopards, Sloth Bears, Barking Deer, Sambar and Chital. This National Park can be explored like any other park in India throught Jeep safari also to watch night life one can use Binoculars. Sundarbans National Park



Sundarbans just not being the National Park is a Tiger reserve, UNESCO world heritage site and a Biosphere Reserve. Sundarbans National Park is located in the Sundarbans delta in the West Bengal state in the Northern part of India. Sundarbans is known as the World’s largest Mangrove forest.

With its extremely rich diversity of aquatic and terrestrial flora and fauna Sundarbans is one of the major ecotourism attractions across India. Neyyar Wildlife Sanctuary


Neyyar is located in the Southern state of Kerala in India and is spread completely over the southeast corner of the Western Ghats. It is spread over an area of 128 sq km and has vegetation from tropical wet evergreen forests to grasslands.

Survey says it has substantial amount of natural vegetation cover. There are 39 species of mammals, 176 species of birds, 30 species of reptiles, 17 species of amphibians. These species includes Tigers, leopards, sloth bears, elephants, sambar, barking deer, nilgiri langur and nilgiri tahr. It is also considered as Crocodile’s farm as there are about 45 mugger crocodiles. This park was inaugurated as Steve Irwin Crocodile Rehabilitation and Research Centre in May 2007.

This place can be best visited during October to March and one can experience a deer farm and lion safaris located within the premises of Wildlife Sanctuary. Boat riding is also made avail to the tourists in picturesque Neyyar Lake. For adventure lovers trekking is also made possible to Agastiar Peak.

Aralam Wildlife Sanctuary



Located in the southeast part of Kannur District, in Aralam Wildlife Sanctuary. It is considered as the most protected area of Kerala State. Zone wise it is considered to be in North West slopes of Western Ghats adjoining with the forests of coorg district of Karnataka. Aralam is also known for the Central State Farm, which produces hybrid coconut seeds and one of the main production centers in the country.

It is considered to be covered with tropical and evergreen forests it is the home to a vast variety of flora and fauna endemic to the Western Ghats. Different kinds of deer, boar, bison and elephant fall under a common category. Leopard and jungle cat are also sighted at Aralam Wildlife Sanctuary. Idukki National Park



Idukki National Park is located in the forest land between the Cheruthoni river and the Periyar river. It is spread over an area of about 77 sq km in idukki district with a attractive lake around the National Park, bounded by a attractive cover of tropical evergreen and deciduous forests.
