Orang National Park



Orang National Park is located on the north bank of the Brahmaputra River in Assam. It is also called as Mini Kaziranga National Park as they both have similar landscapes, streams and grasslands and are inhibited to One horned Rhinoceros.

Orang National parks major attraction is their wildlife and the fauna, includes a variety of all in one place. There is one horned rhinoceros, royal Bengal tiger, barking deer, elephant, leopard, sambar and hogdeer, pangolin, civet cat and otter. The nearest town close to Orang is Tezpur. Orang falls under Darrang and Sonitpur districts. The best time to visit Orang is considered between November and March.
