Great Himalayan National Park



Great Himalayan National Park is placed in the high ranges of Himalayas. GHNP is recently added to list of National parks of India, located in kullu region in the state of Himachal Pradesh. It’s believed to be hemmed in on three sides by the gigantic peaks of the Himalayas, Himachal Pradesh’s GHNP certainly the place to go for a rendezvous with the natural world of these mountains.
The National Park has good wildlife population, especially of avifauna. Dachigam National Park

Bandhavgarh National Park



The name Bandhavgarh is derived from an ancient fort located in this area and this park belongs to the Vindhyan Mountain ranges of central India and it boasts to have highest density of tiger population in the country.

Kanha National Park



Kanha National Park is one of the india’s finest tiger reserves. Sanjay Gandhi National Park



Sanjay Gandhi National Park is lies within the border of the Mumbai city, prior to this it was known as Borivali National Park. This is park is popularly known for its uniqueness and it cover almost 104 sq kms. Pench National Park



Located in southern Madhya Pradesh is Pench National Park, spread across about 275 sq kms which is in Madhya Pradesh and about 10% is in Maharashtra. It is 80 kms from Nagpur and 190 kms from Jabalpur end. Ranthambore National Park



Sawai Madhopur district in Eastern part of Rajasthan is where Ranthambore National Park. This has been a hunting conserve of the Maharajas of Jaipur and it became a National Park in 1980. Few years later the adjoining forests were declared as the Sewai Man Singh Sactuary and Keladevi Sanctuary and were also called as Tiger Reserve.

Gir National Park

Betla National Park



Betla National Park is located in Jharkand in Chota Nagpur Pleatue of the Latehar district. Betla was one of the first national parks in India to become a tiger reserve under Project Tiger. Its prior name was Palamu Sanctuary of Betla National Park. The Betla National Park has the distinction of being one of the 9 tiger reserves that were first establish in the country.

Orang National Park



Orang National Park is located on the north bank of the Brahmaputra River in Assam. It is also called as Mini Kaziranga National Park as they both have similar landscapes, streams and grasslands and are inhibited to One horned Rhinoceros.

Manas National Park



Placed in the North East India is the Manas National Park is rich with its diversity in flora and fauna. It is one of the natural world heritage site, a project tiger reserve, elephant reserve and a biosphere reserve in Assam. Manas name is originates from Manas river which is in turn originated from the serpent goddess Manasa.

Sundarbans National Park

Neyyar Wildlife Sanctuary


Neyyar is located in the Southern state of Kerala in India and is spread completely over the southeast corner of the Western Ghats. It is spread over an area of 128 sq km and has vegetation from tropical wet evergreen forests to grasslands.

Survey says it has substantial amount of natural vegetation cover. There are 39 species of mammals, 176 species of birds, 30 species of reptiles, 17 species of amphibians. These species includes Tigers, leopards, sloth bears, elephants, sambar, barking deer, nilgiri langur and nilgiri tahr. Aralam Wildlife Sanctuary



Located in the southeast part of Kannur District, in Aralam Wildlife Sanctuary. It is considered as the most protected area of Kerala State. Zone wise it is considered to be in North West slopes of Western Ghats adjoining with the forests of coorg district of Karnataka. Silent Valley National Park

Periyar National Park


Periyar National Park is located in the ranges of Western Ghats it is also a Tiger reserve apart from it being a National park. Periyar is one of the 27 tiger reserves in India. Eravikulam National Park

Palani Hills Wildlife Sanctuary and National Park
