Bannerghatta National Park

This is one man made park situated nearly 20kms from Bangalore. We started early to avoid all the rush, we were 6 of us and were sleepy since the sun had just started to show up a little. Reaching the National park took almost 90 minutes. We got down the vehicle and bought 6 tickets to enter the national park.

In spite of us reaching early we had to wait in the queue and when our turn came we all moved to a caged vehicle. They took us to enclosed spaces, different animals were in different spaces. Vehicles passed very close to the animals and these animals were fed their natural diet. At the first we spotted few animals like spotted deer, sambar deer, bison. In the latter space only 2 bears were rested, and the next enclosed space consisted of tigers. This was one breath taking moment for all of us. Lions and Tigers is one of the major tourist attractions which are being conducted by the forest department. We also encountered the elephants migrating between eastern and western ghats reside in this park so its more like a refuge for the elephants. Wildlife safari gave us an opportunity to study about the natural habitat and the study of behavior of various animals. Time went by and our Safari came to an end and we were given a Lunch break.

After having a stomach full lunch we all were set to explore the rest of the park. This included Crocodile Farm, Zoological Garden, Butterfly Park and Snake Park. Walking past through the zoological garden the dense deep forest covered by tall trees was really a great experience. Butterfly park was mind boggling moment, the variety of colorful butterflies was an experience in itself. The uniqueness of some rare butterflies in this park is worth watching.

Well this gave an end to our one day outing organized by Travelife. They made it a wonderful experience for us, everything was strategized and executed at the best. I would suggest you to visit this place with Travelife.
