K Gudi is a place you can feel the nature, holidaying with the feel of hills and the wildlife together. This makes a deadly combination as said by Ramya from Travelife, apart from she saying so we felt it in every moment we spent at K Gudi. Our route to K Gudi from mysore was amazing the roads surrounded with lushy green tall trees on both sides. Approx 20kms stretch after B R Hills to K Gudi is one hell of a road, hills covered with lushy green trees. The view of this is mind boggling the twist and turns on this road makes the journey exuberant. Reaching the destination all set to hit the jungle, as per the schedule we started with our open jeep safaris. Jeep was completely loaded with huge cameras as all of us were more of photographers. Nature enthusiasts enjoy here to the extremes as they love feeling it whole heartedly.
The forest is at its best greenery and wildlife sightings was possible by all means during this time. Excitement churning in stomach, glancing at the evergreen and grassland forests engulfs you at its best. Initially we encountered birds all over the trees making it a wonderful scene engrossing ourselves in clicking a perfect picture. The first few miles were only birds, the next phase was even more interesting. Loads of elephants, bison’s and deer’s all moving in the groups, our jeep passing throught them never really disturbed their strolling around. Capturing these animals in a group was one of the best shot I captured. The Jungle has leopard population too but we were not fortunate enough to sight any of it, though disappointed we kept our spirits high to not miss out any fun. Safari has always been a great experience for us, but this time was different and amazing one. Left us with so many memories hard to believe its over. 2 hours of complete deep jungle safari passed like 30 mins, all in all a beautiful experience. Reaching the resort we just went for nature walk and then had dinner by the campfire with soothing music was just like a sugar icing on the cake.
Ending the day on the tented cottage gave us a complete jungle feel, Travelife made the best for us in true sense. K Gudi the best destination so far to feel the nature and wildlife in their own habitat
