India – Rich in Wildlife and Biodiversity…



With 96 National parks and over 500 wildlife sanctuaries, the range of diversity of India’s wildlife heritage is matchless. Its indeed a home of rich flora, fauna and avifauna that includes over 550 mammals, 30,000 insects, 2000 species and sub species of birds. There are over 500 species of reptiles and amphibians including the deadly king cobras, pythons, crocodiles. The majestic elephants, the prowling Bengal tigers and the king Asiatic Lions are all part of the rich Indian Wildlife.
