Explore the Jungles of South India…

While exploring wildlife in India one should have to explore the jungles of Southern India. The forests in South India survive mainly along the Western Ghats - a range of fairly high hills that run parallel to the west coast. South India has not only coastal attractions but also has lush green sceneries, which enclose wildlife sanctuaries that are wider than life.

There are many parks & sanctuaries in southern India that are rich in wild flora and fauna. The largest tiger reserve in the country is to be found here and the best time to sight a tiger is best in the month of march.

The Main forests are
• Periyar in Kerala,
• Mudumalai in Tamil Nadu,
• Bandipur & Nagarhole in Karnataka,
• Pulicat in Andhra Pradesh.
